If there's one thing this season taught us, it was how important the middle linebacker position is for the Colts. Too bad Brackett can't live forever.Jerry Langtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07562399630723743519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4801205646002033546.post-64264719034392715782009-01-24T15:34:00.000-05:002009-01-24T15:34:00.000-05:00Good stuff. He may be better against the run there (I think he is and is better the Brackett against the run) but he struggles in coverage on the outside. Moving him inside where even more is required of him in coverage is far from ideal (and I think the Buster Davis experiment shows that the Colts aren't eager to put Keiaho there but didn't have a choice). In the playoff game the Chargers worked Keiaho's zone in the middle for a lot of key plays.

With Coyer in, we'll have to see what they want from their LBs. Wheeler may be the new mold for a Colts LB. The pick may have been strange because there was a new voice in the War Room, Caldwell's. They started giving him input into the draft last year when they promised him the head coaching job.shake'n'bakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18381489530841295597noreply@blogger.com
